Our decorating teams are moving inside!

With a perceptible drop in air temperature in the last week or so, Malvern Decorators have started to move our teams back to interior work. Exterior painting becomes hard in cold weather - the paint won't dry properly and at this time of year, we are more likely to be beset by squalls of rain and howling gales. Both of which aren't congenial to painting outside!

We have recently finished a job out in Cradley and another one in Hop Pole Green in Leigh Sinton, the latter a five bedroom house that needed a bit of touching up. Now, we are moving up to West Malvern Road for smaller job that involves a hallway, a lounge, and two bedrooms.

But I have to say, West Malvern Road is not a pleasant drive. With yet another crash in the early hours of Saturday morning on the notorious 'Redan Bend,' the residents are increasingly fed up with the speed that idiot drivers race down the streets. Rightly, they are calling for action.

Whenever I drive up there from Malvern I rarely do more than 20mph in the van, and you have to be both cautious and courteous to other oncoming drivers, obeying the rules of the road and giving way where appropriate. To be honest, I've never had a problem on my journeys up to the western end of the hills, but all it takes is an idiot on a phone or a killer clown wielding a fake machete (apparently there has been a sighting in Malvern Vale!) to cause an accident.

And speaking of the killer clown 'craze' that has imported itself from across the pond, what a daft thing to be doing! It's only going to be a matter of time before some surprised parent lashes out at one and causes a serious injury. (It's not like the police haven't got enough to do with reported shooting incidents in Pickersleigh Road to deal with).
