Wishing John all the best of luck in his new venture!

One thing that I love about Malvern is how close-knit we generally are as a community. I'm known in many local pubs (for the right reasons, I hasten to add), and, over the years, I have developed partnerships and work relationships through our precious watering-holes. (On a related note, and having travelled to various parts of the world by accident or design, it is something that the UK stands apart from many other countries: few have the same pub culture, where people of all trades and classes can usually rub along side-by-side. It's a great leveller in our society).

One such partnership is with John, who I have known for more than ten years. As he was involved in the gas and boiler trade in Malvern, we occasionally used to work together as and when client demands crossed over. (When a radiator has to come off the wall or a lot of new pipes are laid down, decorators are needed!)

Recently, John has gone on to found Malvern Radiators, a company that specialises in replacing older radiators for more efficient models (over time there can be a decent cost saving in better energy efficiency).

So, as one tradesman to another, here's wishing John all the best with his new venture and hoping that we'll be able to offer each other much more business over the coming years.
